Studios start at £148 a week. Gas, electricity, water, Wi-Fi and contents insurance are included. The bathroom and the kitchen are inside the room, and there is a desk.

The 19 buildings are in Radford, Hyson Green and along Gregory Boulevard. Buses run to University Park, Jubilee Campus, NTU City Campus and the medical school at Queen's Medical Centre.

Council tax is separate. Full-time students are usually exempt, which is a matter for the council rather than the tenancy.

How long the contract runs

Tenancies are 49 or 52 weeks. The 52-week contract stays in place over the summer, which suits a PhD or a dissertation that runs past the undergraduate term. The 49-week contract covers the teaching year, with some time at each end.

The building

The studio is private. The gym, cinema room and lounge are there if you want them. Residents include undergraduates, Masters students and PhD students.

The company is ISO 9001 certified and a member of The Property Ombudsman. Deposits are registered with the Deposit Protection Service.

Studios run from the Superior Studio to the duplex. Each one has its own bathroom and kitchen.
