East Midlands Airport is the nearest. A taxi is about 25 minutes, or take the Skylink bus to the centre and an NCT bus on to Radford or Hyson Green. From London, the train from St Pancras takes about two hours.
The tenancy letter is the proof of address most banks ask for. Email us if you need one for the visa file as well. Register with a GP once you have the address. A UK SIM is sold at the station and in the Victoria Centre. Do that before you rely on roaming.
